Credentials: Relationship between humans and the natural environment
Position title: she/her
Email: paulina.king@wisc.edu
Paulina King (b. 1996, Utah) is a Midwest based installation artist, interested in the relationship between our society and the surrounding natural world. Her work explores this constantly changing relationship, questioning accepted norms for the role nature plays in culture. Through these interactions, she creates spaces that speak to the significance and essentiality of the natural world to the human condition. Her works serve as a foil to our rapidly digitizing society, encouraging a return to the present, physical world we inhabit. She is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Madison, Wisconsin and received her BA in Practice of Art from Princeton University.
