Kaitlin Moore is a third-year graduate student in Literary Studies, focusing on modernist science studies with an emphasis on time studies, a domain of inquiry at the intersection of the environmental humanities and theoretical astrophysics. Their work concerns the methodologies poets use to create thought experiments about nature and language using the subject position of science, particularly cosmology and theoretical physics, as well as the stakes of renegotiating ecological models heretofore aimed at simulating the effects and influences of the Anthropocene on a planetary scale.
